A brazen shoplifter made off with over $7,000 worth of merchandise from Home Depot. Store staff reported that a male suspect filled two garbage cans with expensive smoke detectors and rolled them straight out of the store. The suspect fled in a red Buick and is believed to have committed similar thefts at other Home Depot locations in neighboring jurisdictions. The investigation is ongoing.
