Deputy H.R. Perkins responded to a robbery at Jay’s Sports Lounge that stemmed from a political disagreement. The suspect reportedly took offense to the victim wearing a Trump hat, snatched it from his head, and assaulted him. The suspect was found shortly afterward at Friendship Park, detained, and charged with robbery by force. He was held at Rappahannock Regional Jail until sober.
