A disturbing case of assault unfolded at the Super 8 Motel when a maintenance worker entered a guest’s room under the guise of fixing a toilet and instead assaulted the occupant. The suspect admitted to the assault, claiming there was no malicious intent. However, Deputy E.T. Osborn disagreed and promptly arrested the individual for assault and battery. The suspect is now being held at Rappahannock Regional Jail on a $1,000 secured bond.
