Sergeant A.T. Leckemby responded to reports of a male shoplifting at Walmart. The suspect was caught filling his backpack with unpaid merchandise. The items were recovered, and the officer recognized him from a prior Kohl’s theft just two days earlier. The suspect was charged with two counts of shoplifting and released by the magistrate.
