A juvenile fled to a neighbor’s residence after being assaulted by a family member. Responding Deputy K.R. Sprinkles found the juvenile with minor injuries. The suspect admitted to the assault and was charged with child cruelty and assault and battery. He is being held at Rappahannock Regional Jail on a $3,500 secured bond. Child Protective Services has been notified.
