A man who texted in a theft of alcohol at the Sheetz convenience store turned out to be reporting on himself. When Deputy D.A. Robertson arrived, the suspect was still on the scene and openly admitted both to stealing a bottle of wine and sending the initial report. The man was charged with larceny and held at Rappahannock Regional Jail without bond.
