Warrant Suspect Found with Meth During Traffic Stop on Ferry Road

A traffic stop at McDonald’s on Ferry Road led to multiple charges for a wanted individual. First Sergeant D.F. Purcell pulled over a vehicle with a fictitious registration and discovered the driver was wanted in Stafford County for a hit and run. During detainment, the suspect admitted to possessing methamphetamine. He now faces charges for possession of controlled substances, driving while suspended, failure to obtain a registration, and using a fictitious registration. He was also served on his outstanding warrant and is being held at Rappahannock Regional Jail without bond.
