A tragic crash in Nokesville claimed the life of 28-year-old Austin Matthew Dungan of Bealeton. The incident occurred when a 2012 Mazda 5 turned in front of Dungan’s motorcycle, causing a chain reaction that ended with the motorcycle striking a Jeep Wrangler head-on. Dungan died at the hospital. The Jeep’s driver and a juvenile passenger sustained non-life-threatening injuries. The driver of the Mazda, Luke Alexander Altman, 18, of Fairfax, was charged with reckless driving for failing to yield the right of way. He was released on summons.
