Deputy C.A. Sharp responded to a disturbance at America’s Best Value Inn and encountered a 25-year-old female suspect previously arrested earlier in the week following an attempted foot pursuit. The woman was wanted on a warrant for assault and battery on law enforcement. Upon detaining her, Deputy Sharp discovered suspected controlled substances in her possession. She was served her outstanding warrant and additionally charged with possession of controlled substances. She is currently being held at Rappahannock Regional Jail on a $5,000 secured bond.
