Deputies found a man visibly intoxicated and drinking beer outside Mr. B’s. He was taken into custody for public intoxication. However, while at the Rappahannock Regional Jail, he attempted to escape custody by sprinting away but was quickly stopped. He was charged with public intoxication and obstruction of justice and is being held without bond.
