Deputy J. A. Kotvas responded to a report of vandalism and attempted vehicle theft. The victim reported that someone entered their vehicle overnight and caused damage in what appeared to be an unsuccessful attempt to steal the vehicle. Evidence collected at the scene supports the attempted theft theory. The investigation is ongoing.
