A missing license plate led Deputy J.W. Courtney to pull over a vehicle whose driver, Anthony Johnson, 31, of Fredericksburg, appeared impaired. The officer smelled alcohol and marijuana, and found an empty whiskey bottle inside the vehicle. Johnson was arrested for DUI and drinking while driving and is being held on a secured bond.
