A tragic single-vehicle crash claimed the life of a 32-year-old Spotsylvania man on Friday morning in Fredericksburg VA. At around 9:36 a.m., a black Ford SUV veered across multiple lanes of traffic before violently colliding with a traffic light pole at the intersection of Plank Road and Gateway Boulevard.
Preliminary findings from the Fredericksburg Police Department suggest that speeding and aggressive driving may have played a role in the fatal collision. The department’s traffic reconstruction team, in collaboration with the Stafford Sheriff’s Office reconstruction team, is continuing its investigation into the incident.
