Deputies were called to the Dollar Tree after a customer reportedly caused a disturbance while behaving erratically. The suspect had already left the store when Deputy M.N. Sayegh arrived, but was quickly located nearby. Showing signs of intoxication—including slurred speech and the smell of alcohol—30-year-old Qwevonne Smith of Fredericksburg was arrested for public intoxication and held at the Rappahannock Regional Jail until sober.
