Fredericksburg police are investigating a shooting that happened Sunday afternoon in the 900 block of Myrick Street.
Officers were dispatched around 3:32 p.m. on February 1 after the city’s E-911 Center got a call about gunfire in the area. By the time police arrived, everyone involved had already left.
Investigators recovered multiple shell casings at the scene. There were no reported injuries, but there was one report of property damage.
Police are asking neighbors to check any security footage they may have from between 3:00 and 4:30 p.m. on Sunday. If you saw anything unusual or have video, you’re encouraged to contact Detective Tittle at 540-373-3122 ext. 5778.
