Deputy J. A. Kotvas responded to Walmart on Village Parkway for a reported shoplifting incident.
Loss Prevention personnel detained a female who was allegedly skip-scanning items and concealing merchandise. The stolen items were recovered by store staff.
The suspect was identified as Ayanna Wynn-Grayson, 22, of Fredericksburg. She was released on a summons for shoplifting.
