The victim reported being contacted over a two-year period by an individual posing as their boyfriend on the Zingy communication platform. The suspect repeatedly requested gift cards, claiming he had quit his job and later alleging his account had been hacked and the funds stolen.
The victim was informed that the situation was a scam and advised to cease all communication with the suspect immediately.
