Deputy Ramos responded to reports of a suspected intoxicated driver who had stopped in the roadway despite a green traffic light.
When deputies attempted to stop the vehicle, the driver continued briefly before pulling into the Stafford Hospital parking lot. The driver displayed signs of impairment including bloodshot eyes, slurred speech, and a strong odor of alcohol.
The suspect was identified as Michael Graham, 39, of Stafford, and was arrested on charges of driving under the influence and stopping on the highway. Graham was held at Rappahannock Regional Jail without bond.
