Deputies responded to a larceny report at the American Legion Post 290 after funds were discovered missing from a cashier’s office.
The victim reported that the office had been left unlocked, allowing an unknown individual to enter and take the money during an employee’s absence. No surveillance footage was available.
At this time, no suspects have been identified, and the investigation remains ongoing.
