Deputies responded to a reported larceny on Lake Shore Drive where a resident discovered their delivered Amazon package had been tampered with.
According to the report, the suspect cut open the package, removed the contents, and left the empty box behind at the residence. The victim provided camera footage of the delivery; however, the suspect could not be identified from the video.
Amazon has agreed to replace the stolen items. The investigation remains ongoing.
