A disturbance call led to the arrest of a Stafford man for public intoxication Tuesday evening. Deputy Courtney responded to the area and located the individual at a nearby 7-11.
The suspect showed multiple signs of intoxication, including a strong odor of alcohol, glossy eyes, slurred speech, and difficulty recalling events. He admitted to drinking earlier in the day.
William Johnson, 61, of Stafford, was arrested and charged with public intoxication. He was held at Rappahannock Regional Jail until sober.
