A shoplifting incident at a Walmart on Village Parkway resulted in charges for two individuals after a coordinated theft attempt was uncovered.
Deputy Sayegh responded after store Loss Prevention reported that suspects had previously stolen a cart full of merchandise on April 7 and attempted a similar theft again on April 14. During the second attempt, one suspect was detained inside the store while the other was located in the parking lot.
Surveillance footage revealed both individuals were involved in filling the cart with unpaid merchandise before one suspect exited without paying.
The suspects were identified as Damian Carley, 28, of Partlow, and Alyssa Kile, 18, of Milford. Both were released on a summons with a court date. Additionally, Carley has been formally trespassed from the Walmart property.
