Deputy Kotvas responded to a disturbance involving a weapon on South Gateway Drive after a victim reported someone had pointed a BB gun and fired at their vehicle.
After speaking with both parties, investigators determined the suspect had brandished the BB gun during the altercation. Deputies later located multiple weapons and dangerous items in the suspect’s possession.
Quentin Garnett, 47, of Fredericksburg, was charged with brandishing a firearm and held at Rappahannock Regional Jail on a secured bond. The BB gun and additional weapons were collected as evidence.
