Deputy Jenkins responded to a suspicious person complaint at the Walmart on Village Center Drive after reports indicated a man was asleep in the parking lot.
Upon arrival, the deputy found the suspect asleep while holding a case of alcohol. Authorities reported the man showed several signs of intoxication, including glassy eyes, an unsteady balance, and the odor of alcohol.
Jose Nativi, 44, of Manassas, was arrested and charged with public intoxication.
