Deputy Suter responded to a hit-and-run crash on Kings Highway after reports indicated a driver rear-ended another vehicle before fleeing the scene.
Deputies searched the surrounding area but were unable to locate the suspect vehicle. Authorities also noted there were no cameras facing the area where the crash occurred.
The investigation remains ongoing.
