Deputy Ryan responded to a disturbance involving an aggressive driver on Brent Point Road. According to the victim, the suspect had been tailgating their vehicle and making threatening statements during the encounter.
The victim also reported the suspect had dangerous items inside the vehicle and exited the vehicle at one point during the confrontation. After speaking with the suspect, Deputy Ryan observed the items described and later obtained a warrant.
Authorities arrested 35-year-old Darrin Wells of Stafford on a charge of simple assault and battery. Wells was released on a court summons with a future court date.
