A suspicious vehicle stop near Interstate 95 led deputies to discover narcotics and drug paraphernalia inside the vehicle. During the investigation, deputies learned both occupants had suspended licenses. A search uncovered controlled substances near the passenger seat and a scale with white powder residue. Passenger Megan Ford, 42, of Fredericksburg, was charged with possession of a Schedule I or II controlled substance and held on a secured bond. Driver Wesley Whiting Jr., 44, received a summons for driving on a suspended license.
