Deputies responding to a crash found a vehicle that had left the roadway and entered nearby woods. The driver displayed signs of impairment and admitted to drinking alcohol earlier in the day. A subsequent breath test showed a blood alcohol level above the legal limit. Matthew Gonzalez, 22, of Fredericksburg, was charged with driving under the influence.
