The Stafford County Sheriff’s Office is investigating vandalism after multiple traffic signs were damaged or removed at an intersection in Stafford.
Deputies responded to the area of River Acres Lane and Old Banks Drive after receiving a report of vandalism. Upon arrival, a deputy found that a stop sign pole had been cut down, several street signs were missing, and a speed limit sign had been defaced with spray paint.
The Virginia Department of Transportation was notified about the damage. The investigation is ongoing.
