A routine patrol led to multiple traffic charges after a deputy observed a vehicle stopped improperly near Warrenton Road and Sanford Drive.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, the driver initially provided a false name, date of birth and Social Security number before deputies determined his true identity.
Herbert Otey, 62, of Spring Grove, Virginia, was issued summonses for falsely identifying himself to law enforcement, failure to obey a traffic sign, failure to obey a traffic signal, and driving without a license.
