A Stafford woman was arrested on DUI charges after a vehicle crashed into a tree.
Deputies responding to the accident reported the driver showed signs of impairment and admitted to drinking earlier in the evening. The driver refused to provide breath samples both at the scene and later at the Sheriff’s Office. Irene Kendall-Eiland, 65, of Stafford, was charged with driving under the influence, refusal to submit to testing, and driving a vehicle not under control.
