Driver and Passenger Arrested After DUI Stop at Woodstock Lane and Telegraph Road

Two people were arrested after a Stafford County deputy stopped a vehicle that was allegedly failing to maintain its lane near Woodstock Lane and Telegraph Road.

First Sergeant Demirci reported that both the driver and passenger showed signs of impairment, including a strong odor of alcohol. Multiple empty alcoholic beverage containers were also reportedly visible inside the vehicle.

Field sobriety tests were administered, but the driver refused to provide a breath sample at the scene. At the Sheriff’s Office, a breath sample showed the driver’s blood alcohol content was above the legal limit, according to the report.

The driver, Mynor Guerra, 20, of Woodbridge, was charged with driving under the influence, driving after illegally consuming alcohol and drinking while operating a motor vehicle. He was held at the Rappahannock Regional Jail on a secured bond.

The passenger, Joseph Otero Nunez, 18, of Stafford, was charged with public intoxication and held at the Rappahannock Regional Jail until sober.
