A reported self-checkout theft at Target led to an arrest after Stafford County deputies were called to the store.
Authorities said the suspect scanned only some items at the self-checkout and did not pay for additional merchandise. Target’s loss prevention team stopped the suspect, who reportedly admitted to shoplifting.
Jada Armstrong, 21, of Stafford, was arrested and charged with petit larceny.
