A Stafford County deputy responded to Richmond Highway after receiving a report of a person walking along the road without a shirt or shoes.
The individual reportedly displayed several signs of impairment, including a strong odor of alcohol, an unsteady balance and slurred speech. According to the Sheriff’s Office, he acknowledged drinking a significant amount of alcohol earlier in the day.
Danny Martin Jr., 26, of Stafford, was arrested and charged with public intoxication. He was held at Rappahannock Regional Jail until sober.
