A motorcyclist was arrested after a Stafford County deputy reported seeing the motorcycle accelerate at a high rate of speed from a traffic light.
The deputy attempted a traffic stop, but the motorcycle did not stop and went through a red light, according to the Sheriff’s Office. The deputy discontinued the pursuit.
Authorities later located the motorcycle at the suspect’s residence. The suspect eventually came outside and was arrested.
Marlin Adams, 32, of Fredericksburg, was charged with eluding police, reckless speeding, reckless driving and failure to obey traffic lights. He was held at Rappahannock Regional Jail without bond.
