Deputies responded to Willow Glen Court for a fraud report involving a phone scam.
The victim reported receiving a call from a suspect claiming to represent T-Mobile. According to the report, the victim was told they had received a discount and a free phone.
After the phone arrived, the suspects allegedly told the victim that it was the wrong device and instructed the victim to send it back. The victim recognized the scam after returning the phone.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, T-Mobile advised the victim of the scam and launched an investigation.
