STAFFORD, VA — A 37-year-old Louisa man was arrested for driving under the influence following a traffic stop on Hampton Drive.
According to the Stafford County Sheriff’s Office, a deputy assisting with the traffic stop observed signs of impairment from the driver, including slurred speech, glassy eyes and a strong odor of alcohol on his breath.
The driver admitted to consuming alcohol earlier that day, according to the report. Field sobriety tests were administered, and a breath sample was obtained.
Deputies identified the driver as Joseph Cutright, 37, of Louisa. Cutright was arrested and charged with driving under the influence.
