A Ruckersville woman was arrested on DUI and suspended-license charges after a Fredericksburg police officer stopped a vehicle traveling without headlights on Lafayette Boulevard.
Officer Merritt observed a vehicle traveling very slowly with no headlights illuminated in the 2300 block of Lafayette Boulevard. During the traffic stop, the officer observed signs of impairment from the driver, identified as Brooke Jones, 39, of Ruckersville.
Police also determined Jones was driving on a suspended license. Following a DUI investigation, Jones was arrested and transported to the Rappahannock Regional Jail, where she was held on a $2,500 bond.
