A traffic stop on Kings Highway resulted in the arrest of a 25-year-old King George woman.
A deputy reported seeing a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed. During the stop, the driver showed signs of impairment, including the odor of alcohol and slurred speech. Field sobriety tests were administered, and the driver was arrested.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, a breath sample later showed the driver’s blood alcohol content was above the legal limit.
Jenna Rose, 25, of King George, was charged with driving under the influence and speeding. She was held at the Rappahannock Regional Jail without bond.
