A Stafford County resident contacted authorities after discovering several unauthorized phone lines had allegedly been opened in their name.
The victim told the Stafford County Sheriff’s Office that a Verizon bill arrived in the mail showing the unauthorized lines. After contacting Verizon, the victim was advised that a police report was needed for the company’s investigation.
