A report of an intoxicated person and suspicious parked vehicle on Coneflower Lane resulted in an arrest.
The Stafford County Sheriff’s Office said information was received about a suspicious vehicle with an odor of marijuana. When a deputy contacted the suspect, authorities said the person showed signs of impairment, including bloodshot eyes, suspicious behavior and a strong odor of marijuana. Drug paraphernalia was also visible inside the vehicle.
Kelvin Hamilton II, 23, of Stafford, was arrested and charged with public intoxication. He was held at Rappahannock Regional Jail until sober. Marijuana and drug paraphernalia were entered into evidence.
