A registration check on a suspiciously driven vehicle led Stafford County authorities to a wanted man.
A deputy observed the vehicle near Richmond Highway and Sage Lane and checked its registration. The initial investigation indicated that the registered owner was wanted, prompting a traffic stop.
Police confirmed that the driver was the registered owner and arrested him. Thomas Royal Sr., 60, of Orange, was served with his outstanding warrants and held at Rappahannock Regional Jail on a secured bond.
