A Stafford man was arrested for public intoxication after a deputy responded to a disturbance near Cato Fashions at Washington Square Plaza.
Deputy Jensen responded after receiving information that a man was asking inappropriate questions and was possibly intoxicated.
According to the Stafford County Sheriff’s Office, the suspect showed signs of impairment when contacted, including slurred speech, an unsteady balance and the odor of alcohol on his breath.
The suspect was identified as Johnny Blue, 26, of Stafford. He was charged with public intoxication and held at Rappahannock Regional Jail until sober.
