A 38-year-old man from England was arrested for driving under the influence after a Fredericksburg police officer spotted a vehicle traveling with both passenger-side tires blown out.
On November 1, Officer Ruggiere noticed the vehicle traveling with damaged tires and the smell of burning rubber.
Ruggiere initiated a traffic stop near the intersection of Ashby Street and Lafayette Boulevard.
During the stop, the officer observed signs of impairment in the driver, identified as Miles Connors, 38, of West Sussex, England.
Connors was arrested and charged with driving under the influence (DUI).
