Sergeant E.E. West was traveling in the area when she observed a motorcycle traveling 68 MPH in a 45 MPH zone. Sergeant West conducted a traffic stop and made contact with the driver. The driver had signs of intoxication, admitted to consuming three Michelob Ultras, and had difficulty finding his registration despite it being in his hand. The driver was charged with driving under the influence and reckless driving. He was held at Rappahannock Regional Jail until sober.
