1/20/25 4:10 p.m. Deputy D.S. Jett responded to an assault. It was discovered the victim was assaulted by a known male after a difference in opinion. The suspect would flee the scene prior to deputies’ response. Luckily, a complete stranger witnessed the assault and also reported it to Deputy Jett. Deputy Jett was able to locate the suspect later on and charged him with assault and battery. He was released by the magistrate on personal recognizance.
