An attempt to pay with a counterfeit $100 bill at Panera Bread ended poorly for two suspects. Deputy N.J. Amato swiftly located one of the individuals, who denied involvement despite video evidence proving otherwise. He was charged with conspiracy of uttering and is being held without bond at Rappahannock Regional Jail. The second suspect remains at large.
