A dispute over taking out the trash escalated into an assault at Staybridge Suites early Wednesday morning. Deputies responded to find a victim who had been attacked by two individuals. One suspect, a woman, was still at the scene and was immediately detained. The second suspect, a man wearing a “Parental Advisory” hoodie, was quickly found just across the street. Both were charged with assault and battery, as well as assault by mob. The male suspect is being held at Rappahannock Regional Jail on a $1,000 secured bond, while the female was released on personal recognizance.
