Deputies responding to a suspicious person complaint at the Motel 6 arrested a Bealeton man for public intoxication.
The suspect was reportedly looking into parked vehicles. Deputies observed signs of intoxication, including slurred speech, glassy eyes and an odor of alcohol.
Wayne Pendleton, 43, of Bealeton, was charged with public intoxication and held until sober.
