While assisting in a related call at Motel 6, Deputy H.R. Perkins encountered another man sitting in the grass, surrounded by empty alcoholic containers. The man appeared intoxicated, and during questioning, a concealed knife was found on his person. He was charged with public intoxication and carrying a concealed weapon. The suspect was held at Rappahannock Regional Jail until sober.
